missing British backpacker found dead 12 days after he vanished

The 29-year-old ‘experienced’ backpacker’s body was found at the bottom of a crevasse in the mountains of Pisac, in the Andean region of Cusco, police said. Mr Greaves, a furniture maker from Wrexham, arrived in Peru in February to go traveling. On April 7, he began a solo hike through the scenic region of the country’s southeast, where he was to spend his birthday on April 9. Friends expected to see him again on April 10, but never heard from him or saw him again.
