Abu Dhabi connects Khartoum with Sudan Airways
In a recent development, Abu Dhabi Airports announced that Sudan Airways will commence three direct flights per week.
The new service will connect between Abu Dhabi International Airport and Khartoum International Airport.
Flights will depart from Khartoum International Airport at 10:00 and arrive in Abu Dhabi International Airport at 15:00 on Thursdays and Saturdays, while flights leaving Abu Dhabi International Airport at 16:30 will arrive at Khartoum International Airport at 19:30.
There is also an additional flight departing from Khartoum International Airport at 18:00 each Tuesday and arriving in Abu Dhabi International Airport at 23:00. The return flight leaves Abu Dhabi International Airport at 00:30 the following day, arriving in Khartoum International Airport at 03:30.
Eng Ahmad Al Haddabi, chief operations officer at Abu Dhabi Airports said: “The new service will allow for increased connectivity between two important regions. Abu Dhabi Airports looks forward to providing efficient service to all of Sudan Airways’ passengers.”
The three weekly flights will be operated using both an Airbus 320 and Boeing 737 aircraft with a two class configuration.
