Royal Jordanian to connect Tabuk

Royal Jordanian recently announced its decision to commence operations to Tabuk in northern Saudi Arabia. The new flight will start on 15 July 2015.

The two weekly flights may increase based on demand. The new addition raises number of destinations in Saudi Arabia to five which include Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Medina, besides Tabuk.

The new route increases frequency of flights between Jordan and Saudi Arabia to around 60 weekly: 12 to Riyadh, 28 to Jeddah, 10 to Dammam, seven to Medina in addition to the two weekly flights to Tabuk.

RJ president, CEO Captain Haitham Misto said: “Launching the new route is part of the new strategy of the airline, which focuses at this phase on boosting services and operations in the Middle East and the Arab Gulf; this includes reaching new destinations and increasing frequency to current destinations
