Family and technology to be in the spotlight at ATM 2015

he theme for this year’s event will be on the growing potential of family travel – a key area of opportunity for the industry both in the region and globally.

“The number of wealthy families making travel a high-spend priority is on the rise. As per statistics, over one-third of MENA residents are choosing to stay in upscale hotels when travelling for leisure. This trend for luxury family travel offers opportunities for destinations and hotels to directly target this affluent segment, and for tour operators to create tailor-made packages that also address the cultural considerations unique to the MENA region,” said Nadege Noblet, exhibition manager, Arabian Travel Market.

The event will also showcase Family-focused seminars include an opening day session on ‘Family travel trends you should know about – Global family travel patterns and how the Middle East can cash in on them’.

The exhibition will witness attendance from over 400 confirmed exhibitors and in excess of 2,700 exhibiting companies representing 86 countries, including 70 country pavilions. A total of 113 first time exhibitors will make their ATM debut. Some of them include Beverly Hills Tours & Transport from the United States of America, Steigenberger Hotels AG from Germany and Ventura Holidays from India.
