رسالة مفتوحة إلى دولة رئيس الوزراء: أين الخطة لحماية قطاع السياحة؟

  في كل أزمة أو توتر تشهده المنطقة، يكون قطاع السياحة في الأردن أول المتضررين والأكثر تعرضًا للخسائر، دون وجود خطة واضحة من الحكومة لحمايته. الفنادق، المرشدون السياحيون، شركات النقل السياحي، المطاعم السياحية، شركات السياحة، وحتى قطاع الطيران، جميعهم يعانون، بينما يظل الدعم والمساعدات بعيدة عنهم.

السؤال المطروح: أين الحكومة مما يحدث لهذا القطاع الحيوي؟
أين خطة وزارة السياحة لحماية هذا القطاع الذي يمثل أحد الأعمدة الأساسية للاقتصاد الوطني؟
إلى متى سيظل العاملون في قطاع السياحة يدفعون فاتورة الأزمات دون أن تجد هذه الأزمات حلولًا حقيقية أو دعمًا فعليًا؟

ورغم أهمية هذا القطاع ودوره المحوري في الاقتصاد الوطني، إلا أن أصحاب الفنادق وشركات السياحة والمطاعم السياحية والمرشدين السياحيين لا يحصلون على أي دعم، بينما تُوجَّه المساعدات الاقتصادية إلى جهات أخرى دون أن تصل إلى من هم في أمسّ الحاجة إليها.

والأخطر من ذلك، أن المساعدات الخارجية التي تصل إلى الأردن لإنقاذ الاقتصاد ودعم القطاعات المتضررة، لا تصل إلى مستحقيها، بل يحصل عليها بعض المتنفذين من رؤوس الأموال والحيتان، بينما تبقى القطاعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة تعاني وحدها دون أي دعم أو تعويض.

أنا أحد المستثمرين في قطاع السياحة في الأردن، وأسأل الحكومة الأردنية بكل وضوح:
هل لديكم حلول حقيقية لدعم هذا القطاع؟ أم أننا، نحن الذين نعمل في السياحة الأردنية، مضطرون لاتخاذ قراراتنا بأنفسنا، حتى لو كان ذلك يعني الهجرة بحثًا عن فرص أخرى؟

نطالب الحكومة الأردنية بما يلي:
1. إطلاق خطة دعم عاجلة لإنقاذ قطاع السياحة ومساعدته على تجاوز الأزمات المتكررة.
2. توفير دعم مالي مباشر للشركات السياحية والفنادق والمطاعم السياحية والعاملين في القطاع لتعويض الخسائر.
3. ضمان توزيع أي مساعدات اقتصادية بشكل عادل، بحيث تصل إلى القطاعات الأكثر تضررًا وليس إلى فئة محددة من أصحاب النفوذ.
4. وضع سياسات تحمي المؤسسات السياحية وتساعدها على الصمود والاستمرار.

قطاع السياحة ليس مجرد نشاط اقتصادي، بل هو مصدر رزق لعشرات الآلاف من العائلات، واستمراره يعني استقرارًا اقتصاديًا واجتماعيًا للأردن. إن عدم وجود حلول جذرية لحمايته سيؤدي إلى خسائر كبيرة، ليس فقط لهذا القطاع، بل للاقتصاد الوطني ككل.

نرجو من الحكومة الأردنية الرد بوضوح: هل هناك خطة حقيقية لإنقاذ السياحة، أم أن العاملين في هذا القطاع تُركوا لمصيرهم دون أي دعم؟

In every crisis or period of regional instability, Jordan’s tourism sector is consistently the first to bear the brunt, suffering significant losses without any clear, structured response from the government. Hotels, tour guides, tourist transportation companies, restaurants, travel agencies, and even the aviation sector are all grappling with the ongoing challenges, while the necessary support and assistance remain far from reach.

The critical question is: Where does the government stand in addressing the plight of this vital sector? Where is the Ministry of Tourism’s plan to safeguard an industry that serves as one of the cornerstone pillars of the national economy? How long will those working in the tourism sector continue to bear the financial burden of these crises without tangible solutions or meaningful support?

Despite the paramount importance of the tourism sector and its central role in the national economy, hotel owners, travel agencies, tourist restaurants, and tour guides have not received the necessary support. Meanwhile, economic aid continues to be allocated to other sectors, bypassing those who need it most.

Even more concerning is that foreign aid designated for economic recovery and the support of affected sectors in Jordan is not reaching its intended recipients. Instead, it is often directed to influential business elites, leaving small and medium-sized enterprises to suffer without any aid or compensation.

As an investor in Jordan’s tourism sector, I ask the government of Jordan directly: Do you have concrete solutions to support this sector, or are we, those of us invested in Jordanian tourism, left with no choice but to make our own decisions—even if it means seeking opportunities elsewhere?

We call upon the Jordanian government to urgently take the following actions:
1. Implement an immediate and comprehensive support plan to rescue the tourism sector and help it overcome recurring crises.
2. Provide direct financial assistance to tourism companies, hotels, tourist restaurants, and workers in the sector to help compensate for losses incurred.
3. Ensure that any economic aid is distributed equitably, ensuring that it reaches the sectors most affected, rather than a select group of influential stakeholders.
4. Develop policies that protect tourism institutions and enable them to remain resilient and sustainable in the face of ongoing challenges.

The tourism sector is not merely an economic activity; it is a livelihood for tens of thousands of families. Its continued existence is crucial to ensuring both economic and social stability for Jordan. Failure to implement robust, long-term solutions to protect this sector will not only result in significant losses to the industry but also undermine the overall stability of the national economy.

We respectfully urge the Jordanian government to respond with clarity: Is there a genuine plan to safeguard the tourism sector, or are those working within it left to face an uncertain future without support?
